多年前很意外的得到一盘三毛、齐豫、潘越云三人合力打造的专集《回声》的卡带，这里收录了三毛的半生故事，由她亲笔写下的12首歌词，串联成一张完整的音乐传记。三毛软软的独白，齐豫加上潘越云则一直飘来荡去。这让人觉得舒服，觉得美好，也觉得有种物是人非的落寞……

〈回声〉的前言：

回声是一种恫嚇，它不停息的深入人心，要的不过是一个证明。

有人问：这些发生的事情在以后能够记住吗？

回声告诉她：「是的是的是的是的……」于是她反而哀哭起来。

也许，她自己并没有经历过什么，只是一种缓慢的幻觉低语在她耳边一再呼唤。

当回声在某一刻突然消失的时候，她觉得在这整个时间了，应该做些别的事情，但她不知道是什么，永远也不会知道，永远也不能知道，这是她为何感到悲哀的原因。

于是她写出了「回声」——这一首又一首歌。

就凭着这些，歌唱继续着，甚而更加嘹亮而持久。

在爱的边缘，唯有歌声在告诉她；的确，曾经有些无名的事情发生在一个人的身上。

于是她又趴在地上恸哭，直到再临的救赎将她带去远方。

在深夜里，她醒来，那种声音还是如同潮汐一般在她身畔起伏。

而她要的不是这些，她要的是黎明，一种没有任何声音的黎明。即使她如此渴望着，回声还是不肯退去。
